White-label analytics · your analytics arm

The analytics arm your agency sells without hiring one

Dolphin Analytics is the analytics arm for agencies. When a client's data has you pulling your hair out, we come in and fix it. Set-up, fixes and audits across GA4 and Tag Manager, plus the reporting and insight on top, under your brand or alongside you. Proved against source data, and your client keeps the setup.

Does this sound familiar?

The same data problems come up for almost every marketing team we meet, agency-side or in-house. They usually sound like this.

“We can't find or hire the analytics staff”

Analysts, data scientists and data engineers are slow to hire and expensive to keep, and one hire rarely covers all three skill sets.

For agencies

“We can't win, keep or upsell clients”

Without analytics we can lean on, we're not winning the pitch, keeping the clients we've got, or upselling the ones who stay. Good data is how an agency proves its worth.

“Reporting eats our week”

Gathering, reconciling and formatting the same numbers from every platform, every month, before anyone even gets to ask a useful question of them.

If any of these sound like your week, talk to us: send a message, or book a call straight away.

What we actually do

The concrete work behind the pillar, in plain terms.

Analytics delivery under your brand

We work inside your client's GA4 and Tag Manager using access you already hold. The fixes, the reports and the documentation all carry your name, not ours.

Tracking set-up and fixes on client accounts

GA4 and Tag Manager built or repaired on the accounts you run, with Consent Mode and the ad platform links tested before handover. We prove every change against live data.

Audits you can hand to a client

A written findings report naming each fault, its impact and the fix, scoped and quoted per property. Agencies use it to win the work and to bill for the repair.

Reporting your clients can read

Reports pulled straight from the platforms and written in plain English. Every number in our reports is machine-checked against source data before it ships.

Why agencies call us in

The call usually comes from a delivery lead, not a marketer. A client is asking why Meta reports far more leads than the CRM shows. Someone has to answer by Friday, and nobody in the agency owns analytics. The person who last did has often moved on.

Hiring is the obvious answer and rarely the affordable one. Analysts, data engineers and tracking specialists are slow to find and expensive to keep, and one hire seldom covers all three skill sets. So the agency carries the work anyway: the tracking fix nobody quoted for, the monthly reporting nobody budgeted for, the audit a prospect asked for mid-pitch.

The cost lands somewhere. It lands on margin when you absorb the work, and on the client relationship when the numbers stay wrong. It lands on the pitch when you can't show the measurement story the brief asked for. That is the work we pick up: we set up, audit and fix GA4 and Tag Manager for agency and in-house clients most weeks.

How we work inside your client accounts

You stay the agency. We work inside your existing GA4 and Google Tag Manager access, under your brand, with access your client has approved. We can join your client calls as part of your team, or stay entirely behind your delivery lead and hand everything over. Your name goes on the work.

The work starts with a diagnosis. Read-only access to GA4 and Tag Manager is enough to begin, and editor rights come later, once you approve the fixes. We also want a read-only view of the ad platforms and of the store or CRM the numbers should match. Then every event, trigger and variable gets checked against what actually fires.

That diagnosis is our paid audit, scoped and quoted before it starts. You get a written findings report naming each fault, its impact and the fix, written so you can hand it straight to the client. If you want us to do the fixing, we work in your client's own container and prove each change against live data. Your client ends up owning the access, the container and the documentation.

What agencies have got out of it

We have partnered with 20+ agencies across the UK, Europe and US. One performance agency ran us across five client accounts, saved £100K in hiring costs and launched two new offerings. Another agency resold our fix at a 40% markup.

Sometimes the win is simply the client staying. We fixed the tracking, so the agency could see what was actually happening in Meta, and they kept their client. On another account, our compliance work helped a client avoid exposure to a potential GDPR fine of up to €20M. The same fix helped the agency protect a six-figure retainer.

With Connective3 we worked on Q Hotels Group. We found duplicate purchase events inflating bookings across 16 hotels, and gave the group its first accurate property-level view of direct bookings. For Incisive Media we saved around £100k and 2,600 hours of reporting a year. They made 3x their investment reselling that reporting to their own clients.

What white-label analytics costs

We scope and quote per property before any work starts. Three things drive the quote. How many properties and containers are in scope, how much is broken, and whether you want a one-off fix or standing cover across your clients.

We don't publish a rate card. The same fault can be a day's work on one client site and a week on a multi-domain setup with a CRM behind it. Every quote says what is included, what you get back and when, so there is no open-ended day rate running against your margin.

You know your cost before you quote your client. You can bill our work on as a line item, or fold it into a retainer.

Built for agencies, open to in-house teams

This is built for agencies first. Performance, SEO, media and B2B agencies use us as the analytics arm they have not hired: set-up and fixes on client accounts, audits that strengthen a pitch, reconciliation when the platforms disagree, and reporting that holds up in a client meeting. Agencies white-label us as their analytics arm.

It works best when you already hold the client relationship and want measurement to stop being the weak part of it. You keep the account and the conversation. We keep the tracking honest behind you, and you sell the result rather than absorb it.

In-house teams come to us directly too. Usually paid media is spending against conversions nobody trusts, or the one person who understood the setup has left. Same people, same method, no agency in the middle.

Talk to us first

Tell us which client account is giving you trouble in a message, or book a 30-minute call straight away. Either way you hear from a person within one working day, with a considered view of what is probably broken and what fixing it would involve. It is free, and there is no obligation to go further.

Sonar is the other way in. Run a client site through it before we talk. It scans from the outside, the way a visitor's browser sees the page, and reports the tags, pixels and consent setup it can prove are running. Bring the result and we will take it from there.

In their words

What the teams we work with say

Agencies and in-house teams we plug into as their analytics bench, on what it's like to have us on the team.

Partnering with Dolphin Analytics resonates with us because it gives us extra capacity with heavily fluctuating demand in this current climate around new tracking implementation technologies. It's the offering of dealing with experts with a no-fuss approach. They're so valuable, solving our biggest pain points by providing on-demand expertise. In any agency setting there is always a lack of capacity for niche skilled expertise, and Dolphin Analytics provides that.
Alan Ng Chief Innovation Officer, Connective3 Marketing agency, 150 people
Working with Dolphin Analytics has been a pleasure. Olam and his team were brought on to help us work through client issues outside our usual area of operations. Their team worked seamlessly alongside Axon Garside for our clients. They led the project, identifying the solution swiftly, before developing the fix and completing the jobs rapidly. Dolphin Analytics' communication was great throughout, keeping my team updated. This is the beginning of a fruitful business relationship between both businesses.
Spencer Montagu Marketing Director, Axon Garside B2B marketing agency, 20 people
Olam and his team joined us when our product analytics was still in its infancy. Within weeks they'd resolved a host of issues with our Heap events and reports, giving us a much clearer picture of how customers used the platform. They then helped our product and UX team embed a framework for experimentation, so we could validate ideas and deliver value far more quickly: a real step change in how we build products. Olam is a genuine people person, and his collaborative approach was hugely appreciated. I extended the engagement numerous times and am hugely grateful for the change he helped enact.
Jack Levy Head of Product, Preqin In-house product team
Data can be complex and, more often, it is made unnecessarily so by the people within it. However, Dolphin Analytics' skill is in understanding what's possible, what's necessary, and making that easily understood and implemented. It's rare to have such consistently good and reliable data expertise, but Dolphin Analytics always delivers.
Dino Myers-Lamptey Managing Director, Mediahub Marketing agency, 500 people
Dolphin Analytics joined our team and quickly became a valuable asset that we wanted to extend onto other projects. They are able to think critically, stay solutions-oriented, and know how to work with others, bringing their expertise and point of view on data and analytics. Beyond the technical skill across various analytics tools, they have broad experience with different types of analysis, which makes them able to step up to different challenges.
Payam Cherchian Data & Analytics Director, AKQA (now EssenceMediacom) Web & design agency, 40 people
We turned to Dolphin Analytics when we had a data project we needed specialist input on. The team took time to understand our challenges, ambition and the nuances of our business to propose a bespoke solution. They broke down complex processes in a way we could communicate across our teams and clients to build into our roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

What does white-label analytics actually mean in practice?

We do the analytics work and you keep the client relationship. That means GA4 and Tag Manager set-up, audits, fixes, reconciliation and reporting, delivered under your brand inside accounts you already run. Agencies white-label us as their analytics arm, and we do this work for agency and in-house clients most weeks.

Will our client ever know you are involved?

Only if you want them to. Some agencies put us on client calls as part of their team. Others keep us entirely behind their delivery lead and pass the work on as their own. Both are normal, and your name goes on the work either way.

How do you work inside our existing client accounts?

We use the GA4 and Google Tag Manager access you already hold, with the client's approval, starting read-only for the diagnosis. Editor rights come later, once you approve the fixes. Everything we change happens in your client's own container, and we document what changed and why.

Can we resell your work to our clients at a margin?

Yes. You get a quote before the work starts, so you can price your own client work on top with confidence. One agency resold our fix at a 40% markup. Another ran us across five client accounts, saved £100K in hiring costs and launched two new offerings.

How much does white-label analytics cost?

We scope and quote per property before any work starts, so you know your cost before you quote your client. Three things drive the quote: how many properties are in scope, how much is broken, and whether you want a one-off fix or standing cover. We don't publish a rate card, because the same fault can be a day on one site and a week on another.

What if we only need you for one client account?

That's a fine place to start. One account, one bounded job, scoped and quoted on its own. If it goes well, we pick up the next account when you need us. There is no minimum book of clients.

Can you cover reporting as well as tracking?

Yes. We build the reporting on top of the tracking, pulled straight from the platforms and written so a client can read it unaided. Every number in our reports is machine-checked against source data before it ships. For Incisive Media that saved around £100k and 2,600 hours of reporting a year, and they made 3x their investment reselling the reporting to clients.
