Who we work with

Problems we help with

Does this sound familiar?

The same data problems come up for almost every marketing team we meet, agency-side or in-house. They usually sound like this.

“We don't know if our tracking is right”

GA4 says one thing, Meta Ads says another and Shopify says a third. Nobody can explain the gaps, so nobody fully trusts any of the numbers.

“We can't prove ROI”

The board wants to know what marketing returned. The dashboards claim plenty, the bank account says less, and there's no defensible number in between.

“Reporting eats our week”

Gathering, reconciling and formatting the same numbers from every platform, every month, before anyone even gets to ask a useful question of them.

“We can't find or hire the analytics staff”

Analysts, data scientists and data engineers are slow to hire and expensive to keep, and one hire rarely covers all three skill sets.

“We're sitting on tonnes of data and still can't answer basic questions”

The data exists, somewhere, across GA4, the ad platforms, the CRM and the store. Linking it into one answer is the part nobody has time for.

For agencies

“We can't win, keep or upsell clients”

Without analytics we can lean on, we're not winning the pitch, keeping the clients we've got, or upselling the ones who stay. Good data is how an agency proves its worth.

In their words

What the teams we work with say

Agencies and in-house teams we plug into as their analytics bench, on what it's like to have us on the team.

Partnering with Dolphin Analytics resonates with us because it gives us extra capacity with heavily fluctuating demand in this current climate around new tracking implementation technologies. It's the offering of dealing with experts with a no-fuss approach. They're so valuable, solving our biggest pain points by providing on-demand expertise. In any agency setting there is always a lack of capacity for niche skilled expertise, and Dolphin Analytics provides that.
Alan Ng Chief Innovation Officer, Connective3 Marketing agency, 150 people
Working with Dolphin Analytics has been a pleasure. Olam and his team were brought on to help us work through client issues outside our usual area of operations. Their team worked seamlessly alongside Axon Garside for our clients. They led the project, identifying the solution swiftly, before developing the fix and completing the jobs rapidly. Dolphin Analytics' communication was great throughout, keeping my team updated. This is the beginning of a fruitful business relationship between both businesses.
Spencer Montagu Marketing Director, Axon Garside B2B marketing agency, 20 people
Olam and his team joined us when our product analytics was still in its infancy. Within weeks they'd resolved a host of issues with our Heap events and reports, giving us a much clearer picture of how customers used the platform. They then helped our product and UX team embed a framework for experimentation, so we could validate ideas and deliver value far more quickly: a real step change in how we build products. Olam is a genuine people person, and his collaborative approach was hugely appreciated. I extended the engagement numerous times and am hugely grateful for the change he helped enact.
Jack Levy Head of Product, Preqin In-house product team
Data can be complex and, more often, it is made unnecessarily so by the people within it. However, Dolphin Analytics' skill is in understanding what's possible, what's necessary, and making that easily understood and implemented. It's rare to have such consistently good and reliable data expertise, but Dolphin Analytics always delivers.
Dino Myers-Lamptey Managing Director, Mediahub Marketing agency, 500 people
Dolphin Analytics joined our team and quickly became a valuable asset that we wanted to extend onto other projects. They are able to think critically, stay solutions-oriented, and know how to work with others, bringing their expertise and point of view on data and analytics. Beyond the technical skill across various analytics tools, they have broad experience with different types of analysis, which makes them able to step up to different challenges.
Payam Cherchian Data & Analytics Director, AKQA (now EssenceMediacom) Web & design agency, 40 people
We turned to Dolphin Analytics when we had a data project we needed specialist input on. The team took time to understand our challenges, ambition and the nuances of our business to propose a bespoke solution. They broke down complex processes in a way we could communicate across our teams and clients to build into our roadmap.

What we do

Five things we do, one way we do them

Tracking, Insight and Reporting lead, following the natural data journey: capture it right, understand it, prove it. Compliance and Experimentation support the three. And we do all five the new way.

Tracking

capture it right

Audits, set-ups, fixes and server-side tracking across GA4, Google Tag Manager and the ad platform pixels that feed your optimisation.

Explore tracking

Insight

understand it

Marketing, web and app optimisation: which platform to trust, which channel drives revenue, what to do next.

Explore insight

Reporting

prove it

Automated dashboards and reports that prove ROI without eating your week.

Compliance

GDPR and cookie audits, consent set-up and GRC. Compliant tracking and accurate tracking are the same job done properly.

Experimentation

Test and learn: CRO and A/B testing that turn insight into revenue.

Years of doing this by hand for 50+ agencies and brands taught us what needs automating. So we built the tools that do it:

Powers · 01 Tracking

Sonar

live

Our tracking scanner, and the first step of every audit.

  • Point it at a URL: it crawls your site and maps every tag, pixel and dataLayer event
  • Tells you what's firing, what's broken and what's missing, with the evidence attached
  • Scores your tracking health, and only claims what it can prove from the crawl
  • No access or account needed for the free scan

Why it exists: you can't fix tracking you can't see. Sonar shows us both the truth before any work starts.

Powers · 01 Tracking + 02 Insight + 03 Reporting

Surface

request beta

Our analytics platform: the new way, productised. It's the engine behind the Tracking, Insight and Reporting pillars.

Why it exists: reporting used to eat a week a month and still left three numbers that disagreed. Surface gives the week back and settles the argument.

  • Connectors we built pull GA4, ads, CRM, store and email into one database the moment you connect
  • Ask questions in plain English; live dashboards blend every platform and stay current
  • Reports write themselves; every figure validated against source before you see it
  • One database, one number, no more dashboards that disagree
  • Tracking to come: automated audits of your whole setup, then the fixes, with your tags watched 24/7
Surface's Ask view: a plain-English question about social performance, answered with figures computed from live rows

How · the new way

Built around faster tools, better judgment, and less manual work.

We've spent years doing this work by hand: the audits, the reconciliations, the monthly reports. So we built tools that automate it, for tracking, insight and reporting alike.

The old way

Manual and frustrating.

A frustrated Black analyst pulling at his hair amid reports, devices and tangled cables
  • 14 tabs open to build one report
  • Five tools that do not agree
  • A week lost to copy and paste every month
  • Months of setup before the first answer
  • Three revenue numbers with no trusted truth
  • A frustrated team stuck arguing with the data

The new way

Supercharged with AI.

The same Black analyst calm and confident at a clear desk
  • Set up in days, not months
  • One database connected once
  • Answers in seconds, in plain English
  • Reports build themselves
  • One number validated to source
  • A team that trusts the data

And we keep building: whenever a client's stack needs a new connector or tool, we make it.

About

The people that get it sorted

Senior analytics on tap: the person who has seen your problem before, and the specialists who make the fix hold. No months-long hire, no guesswork.

Olam Sule, Founder, Dolphin Analytics
Our story

The founder who learned it the hard way

Olam built his first website and quickly realised he couldn't tell what people were doing on it, which marketing brought them there, or what was actually working. Learning to answer those questions became his career; over a decade of analytics experience later, it became Dolphin Analytics.

The specialists you plug in

A globally distributed team that plugs into your agency or your in-house marketing team. Every skill set from day one, so you get the answers without building the function yourself.

  • 01

    Data analysts

Read the data and find what actually matters.

  • 02

    Data scientists

Model it and forecast what happens next.

  • 03

    Data engineers

Build the pipelines so it all holds together.

Senior expertise on tap rather than a months-long hiring round. Engagements are founder-led, and the team scales behind them.

How we work

How does an engagement start?

Every Dolphin Analytics engagement starts with talking to us. Send a message, or book a call straight away. From there it's a scoped project or an ongoing value-based retainer.

Step 01

Talk to us first

Tell us what's going on with your data, or grab a 30-minute slot on the calendar straight away. No sales script to sit through either way.

Step 02

We review and come back

If you booked a call, we come to it with your message already read. If not, we reply within one working day with a considered view of the problem. Sometimes we need view-only access to the relevant systems to see what's happening for ourselves. We'll tell you what we need and why.

Step 03

Then, one of two paths

Pricing is value-based on both: you pay for the outcome, not the hours.

Path one

Project-based work

We fix one scoped thing.

For
Teams with a specific data problem to fix
You get
A defined outcome: a tracking rebuild, an attribution reconciliation, a reporting automation
Best if
You have one clear problem, not an ongoing need
Pricing
Value-based, scoped up front
Talk to us
Path two

Value-based retainer

We run your analytics, ongoing.

For
Teams who need senior analytics capability on tap
You get
Ongoing managed analytics: tracking, insight and reporting, handled
Best if
Data is a continuous need and hiring in-house is slow or expensive
Pricing
Value-based monthly; senior expertise without a £300k+ hire

Straight answers

The questions you're probably asking

The things agencies and marketing leads actually want to know before they let anyone near their data. Straight answers, no hedging.

Is our data safe with you?

Yes, and we put it in writing. Every engagement comes with a data processing agreement, and you keep the right to delete: if we part ways, whatever we hold gets erased. Where AI is involved, we work through LLM APIs that delete data within days and never train on it, with zero-data-retention and anonymisation available for sensitive work. Nothing leaves our hands without a human reviewing it first.

Can we trust numbers an AI touched?

Every figure is checked against the source data by a validator before anything ships, and a senior analyst owns it. That validator once caught a claimed 23% that was really 21.4%. The AI drafts; it never gets the final say.

Do you replace our team or our agency?

Neither has to move. We plug in alongside the team or agency you already have, or build the whole measurement function from scratch when there's nothing there yet. Agencies white-label us as their analytics arm; in-house teams get the capability they can't hire fast.

We've already got GA4 and dashboards. Why do we need you?

Having the tools isn't the same as trusting them. If your dashboards disagree with each other, that's the giveaway. We fix the tracking underneath so the numbers finally match, then make them readable.

Why not just hire someone?

To cover this properly you'd need an analyst, a data scientist and an engineer, plus months to find them. You plug all three in from day one, for a fraction of the standing cost of one senior hire.

You're cheaper than a consultancy. What's the catch?

No catch. AI now does the hours a person used to, so we charge for the outcome rather than the time. The saving is real, not a corner cut.

We've been burned by analytics people before.

Fair, and it's exactly why the front door is talking to us, free. You tell us what's wrong, we come back with what we'd do about it, and you see the quality of the thinking before you spend anything. The first paid step is fixed-scope, so the risk stays capped.

What happens after I talk to you?

You get a considered written response within a few days: what looks broken, what it's costing you, and what we'd do next. If it makes sense, that becomes a scoped project or an ongoing retainer. If it doesn't, you keep the findings. A call only happens if it's useful.

How much access do you need?

Less than you'd think. Viewer access to the platforms in question is enough for the audit, and nothing changes in your accounts without agreeing it first.

Talk to us

Data giving you a headache? We'll take it off your plate.

Tell us what's broken, or grab a time. Either way you hear from a person, not a sales script.

Send a message

We reply within one working day.
