Web analytics agency · one true number

The web analytics agency that reconciles your numbers

Dolphin Analytics is a web analytics agency for agencies and in-house marketing teams. We set up and fix GA4 and Google Tag Manager, connect the ad platform pixels, the store and the CRM, and reconcile all of it into one set of numbers everyone can trust. Every fix is proved against source data before we call it done, and you keep the access, the documentation and the setup at the end.

Does this sound familiar?

The same data problems come up for almost every marketing team we meet, agency-side or in-house. They usually sound like this.

“We don't know if our tracking is right”

GA4 says one thing, Meta Ads says another and Shopify says a third. Nobody can explain the gaps, so nobody fully trusts any of the numbers.

“We're sitting on tonnes of data and still can't answer basic questions”

The data exists, somewhere, across GA4, the ad platforms, the CRM and the store. Linking it into one answer is the part nobody has time for.

For agencies

“We can't win, keep or upsell clients”

Without analytics we can lean on, we're not winning the pitch, keeping the clients we've got, or upselling the ones who stay. Good data is how an agency proves its worth.

If any of these sound like your week, talk to us: send a message, or book a call straight away.

What we actually do

The concrete work behind the pillar, in plain terms.

GA4 and Tag Manager built right

We set up or fix GA4 and Google Tag Manager so events, key events and Consent Mode fire once and fire accurately. We test every change against the live site before we call it done.

Ad pixel and platform reconciliation

We connect and check the ad platform pixels against GA4 so the numbers you bid on are real. Overclaims get caught before they steer budget.

Store and CRM tie-out

We reconcile GA4 against your store's orders and your CRM's deals, so revenue and pipeline numbers match what actually happened. One source of truth, not three competing dashboards.

White-label agency cover

We work inside your existing client accounts under your brand, as the analytics arm you don't have to hire. You keep the client relationship and bill for the work.

The faults we get called in for

The call usually comes after someone stopped trusting the dashboard. GA4 says one number, the ad platforms say another, the store says a third, and nobody can explain the gap. Reporting takes a day to assemble and still gets argued with in the meeting it was built for.

Underneath, the same faults show up again and again. Tracking that was never mapped end to end, so a chunk of activity sits unattributed. The team is sitting on data across GA4, the ad platforms and the CRM and still cannot answer a basic question about where revenue came from. For agencies this is worse: without analytics you can stand behind, it gets harder to win a pitch or sell anything beyond the retainer you already have.

We set up, audit and fix GA4 and Tag Manager for agency and in-house clients most weeks, and we do the same reconciliation against ad pixels, the store and the CRM. The fix is rarely one tool. It is knowing which platform is off, by how much, and what the true number is.

How the work runs

We start with access: read-only on GA4 and Google Tag Manager for the diagnosis, and read-only on the ad platforms you run. Editor rights come later, once fixes are approved. We also need a view of the store or CRM you want the numbers to match. From there we map every event and pixel against what fires on the site, and check GA4, the ad platforms and the store against each other rather than trusting any one alone.

That diagnosis is our paid audit, scoped and quoted before it starts. You get a written findings report naming each fault, what it costs you and what the fix involves. If you want us to do the fixing, we work inside your own GA4 and Tag Manager, prove every change against live data, and document what changed. If your team would rather fix it themselves, the report is written so they can.

At the end you own everything: the access, the containers, the documentation. Some clients stop there. Others keep us on as ongoing cover, so someone senior is already across the setup when the next site change or campaign launch breaks something.

Proof, not promises

We saved a performance agency £100K in hiring costs across five client accounts by running as their analytics arm instead of a new hire. The agency launched two new offerings on the back of it. Another agency took a fix we built for one of their accounts and resold it to the client at a 40% markup.

For a media agency, we gave the team 20 hours a week back on reporting that used to mean pulling numbers from every platform by hand. That time went back into client strategy instead of spreadsheets, and the same agency opened up £50K of dashboard upsells on the back of it. Every number in the reports we produce is machine-checked against the source data before it reaches anyone.

The pattern holds across both kinds of client: agencies protect the retainer and sell more against it, and in-house teams stop arguing about whose number is right.

What it costs

We scope and quote per property before any work starts, so the number is known up front rather than discovered halfway through. The quote depends on how many GA4 properties and Tag Manager containers are in play, how many platforms need reconciling against each other, and whether you want a one-off fix or ongoing cover.

The same fault can be a day's work on a single site and a week on a multi-brand setup with a CRM behind it, so we do not publish a rate card. A white-label engagement for an agency's client base is priced differently again, against the accounts you run rather than a single property.

What you will not get is an open-ended day rate with no end point. Every quote states what is included and when you get it. The intake conversation sets the scope, and the quote is agreed before any work starts.

Who it is for

Agencies white-label us as their analytics arm, working inside your client's GA4 and Tag Manager under your brand. That turns a tracking problem you were absorbing into billable work, and it gives you an analytics offer to sell without hiring for it. The access is agreed with your client, and the work carries your name.

In-house teams hire us directly, usually because paid media is spending against conversions nobody fully trusts, or because reporting has become a weekly drain on someone who should be making decisions instead. We are UK-based and work remotely, so distance from your office is never the blocker.

Either way you get the same thing: a setup that reconciles, a written record of what changed, and a team that leaves you able to run it afterwards.

Talk to us first

Tell us which numbers don't agree in a message, or book a 30-minute call straight away. Either way you hear from a person: a message gets a considered view of what is probably broken and what fixing it would involve within one working day. No sales script to sit through, and no obligation to go further.

Sonar is the other way in. Run your site through it if you want evidence before we talk. It scans from the outside, the way a visitor's browser sees the page, and reports the tags, pixels and consent setup it can prove are running. Bring the result to the conversation and we will take it from there.

In their words

What the teams we work with say

Agencies and in-house teams we plug into as their analytics bench, on what it's like to have us on the team.

Partnering with Dolphin Analytics resonates with us because it gives us extra capacity with heavily fluctuating demand in this current climate around new tracking implementation technologies. It's the offering of dealing with experts with a no-fuss approach. They're so valuable, solving our biggest pain points by providing on-demand expertise. In any agency setting there is always a lack of capacity for niche skilled expertise, and Dolphin Analytics provides that.
Alan Ng Chief Innovation Officer, Connective3 Marketing agency, 150 people
Working with Dolphin Analytics has been a pleasure. Olam and his team were brought on to help us work through client issues outside our usual area of operations. Their team worked seamlessly alongside Axon Garside for our clients. They led the project, identifying the solution swiftly, before developing the fix and completing the jobs rapidly. Dolphin Analytics' communication was great throughout, keeping my team updated. This is the beginning of a fruitful business relationship between both businesses.
Spencer Montagu Marketing Director, Axon Garside B2B marketing agency, 20 people
Olam and his team joined us when our product analytics was still in its infancy. Within weeks they'd resolved a host of issues with our Heap events and reports, giving us a much clearer picture of how customers used the platform. They then helped our product and UX team embed a framework for experimentation, so we could validate ideas and deliver value far more quickly: a real step change in how we build products. Olam is a genuine people person, and his collaborative approach was hugely appreciated. I extended the engagement numerous times and am hugely grateful for the change he helped enact.
Jack Levy Head of Product, Preqin In-house product team
Data can be complex and, more often, it is made unnecessarily so by the people within it. However, Dolphin Analytics' skill is in understanding what's possible, what's necessary, and making that easily understood and implemented. It's rare to have such consistently good and reliable data expertise, but Dolphin Analytics always delivers.
Dino Myers-Lamptey Managing Director, Mediahub Marketing agency, 500 people
Dolphin Analytics joined our team and quickly became a valuable asset that we wanted to extend onto other projects. They are able to think critically, stay solutions-oriented, and know how to work with others, bringing their expertise and point of view on data and analytics. Beyond the technical skill across various analytics tools, they have broad experience with different types of analysis, which makes them able to step up to different challenges.
Payam Cherchian Data & Analytics Director, AKQA (now EssenceMediacom) Web & design agency, 40 people
We turned to Dolphin Analytics when we had a data project we needed specialist input on. The team took time to understand our challenges, ambition and the nuances of our business to propose a bespoke solution. They broke down complex processes in a way we could communicate across our teams and clients to build into our roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

What does a web analytics agency actually do for us?

We set up and fix GA4 and Google Tag Manager, connect the ad platform pixels, the store and the CRM, and reconcile the lot into one set of numbers. We do this for agency and in-house clients most weeks. The output is a working setup and a written record, not a slide deck.

How is a web analytics agency different from a full-service digital agency?

A full-service agency runs campaigns and reads whatever analytics happens to exist. We treat measurement as the whole job: the tracking, the reconciliation and the reporting that decides whether the campaigns are working. We are UK-based and work remotely with clients wherever they sit.

Can you work as our agency's white-label analytics arm?

Yes. Agencies white-label us as their analytics arm, working inside your existing GA4 and Tag Manager access under your brand. The access is agreed with your client, and the work carries your name; and the written record of every change is yours to show them.

Do you replace an in-house analytics hire?

Sometimes, and sometimes we sit alongside one. We saved a performance agency £100K in hiring costs across five client accounts, and the agency launched two new offerings on the back of it. If you already have someone in-house, we can do the setup work and hand it to them, or stay on as cover.

Which platforms do you work across?

GA4 and Google Tag Manager as the core, plus the pixels from the ad platforms you run, your store's checkout and order data, and your CRM. The value is in reconciling them against each other, not in any one tool alone.

How much does hiring a web analytics agency cost?

We scope and quote every engagement per property before work starts. The quote depends on how many properties and platforms are involved, what is broken and whether you want a one-off fix or ongoing cover. We do not publish a rate card because the same fault can be a day's work on one site and a week on another.

What do you need from us to start?

Read-only access to GA4 and Google Tag Manager for the diagnosis. Editor access comes later, once you approve fixes. We also need read-only access to the ad platforms you run, and a view of the store or CRM you want the numbers reconciled against. We give you the timeline with the quote.
